Terms of Service
Last updated August 16, 2026
These terms govern your use of MiniFile (minifile.app), a free tool for compressing and converting images in your browser. By using MiniFile, you agree to these terms.
The service
MiniFile lets you compress and convert JPG, PNG, WEBP, and AVIF images, one at a time or in bulk. All processing happens locally in your browser via WebAssembly. We do not receive, store, or have any access to the images you process, so we cannot recover them if you lose your work, and there is nothing for us to delete on request since nothing is stored on our end in the first place.
Your content
You retain full ownership of any images you process with MiniFile. We claim no rights to your content, and since files never leave your device, we never have possession of it.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use MiniFile to process content you don't have the right to possess or modify.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or overload the site's infrastructure.
- Use automated means to scrape or republish the site itself outside normal browsing.
No warranty
MiniFile is provided "as is," free of charge, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the tool will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose. Always keep your own backups of source images before batch processing.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MiniFile and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data or images.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
